Patient Care Assistant

Job description

Primary Duties:

  • Preliminary testing with sophisticated automated instruments
  • Data Entry into computerized health records
  • Prepare and sanitize exam rooms
  • Instruct patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses
  • Basic administration duties including use of standard office equipment

Skills and qualifications:

  • Effectively communicate procedures and information using high standard of grammatical proficiency
  • Knowledgeable with Windows software and ability to learn additional software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Highly adaptable in a fast paced and constantly changing medical environment
  • Knowledge or experience in a medical setting preferred, but not required
